Have you ever heard of the saying “You are what you think”? Well, it is true that your life is determined by your thoughts. Thought is the beginning stages of forming words, then actions. This is why it is so incredibly important to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, and speak positive words rather than negative words. This takes us back to the saying “you are what you think”. Seems crazy, right? Tell that to the number of millionaires that follow these practices faithfully. It all starts with being aware and informed about the law of attraction and positive affirmations, so you can take the steps to use them to change your life!
The law of attraction can be implemented and practiced in a number of ways. Positive affirmations are only a small part of the framework needed to use the law of attraction. Other tools must be used as well, such as visualization. It is important to know exactly what you want so you can visualize it, thus raising your vibration and manifesting it into the universe to become reality.
Whether you know it or not, every minute of every day we are putting our thoughts and emotions out into the universe. The law of attraction says that we basically act as human magnets, getting back even more of what we put out.
When we stress about money and call ourselves “broke”, only more financial crisis’ happen. That is because of the negative thoughts, emotions, and words that are being put out into the universe. People who rewire their brains to think positively and replace negative words with positive ones will very quickly see a huge response in the universe. By radiating this positivity, the universe throws even more positivity back at you. This can lead to life changing opportunities, friendships, understandings, and so many other possibilities.
Repeating affirmations throughout the day is an easy and incredibly effective way to remain positive and rewire your brain to exclude negativity. It is proven that this method increases hormones that “rewire” your brain to think positively!
If these simple reminders have the power to change our lives, why are we not using them regularly? Post them around your home and even your office at work. I was a server and bartender for many years, and I always kept affirmations written all over my server book. If I had an office job, I would post them on stickies or little pictures on my desk.

I also fell in love with the idea of wearing affirmations on my wrists. After having a slight melt down one day, I decided to turn my frustration into something positive, thus Connections By Tati was born.

This is one of my favorite, and cutest items of decor. I put decorative affirmations on the walls in frames or painted on canvases. In every room I walk into, there is some kind of reminder to keep my thoughts positive! I get so many compliments on the sayings and cute decor.
I love writing affirmations on my mirrors and switching them every few days. I write things such as “you are beautiful” or “today is a wonderful day”. It is always appreciated by my fiancé and our guests.
I also keep affirmations on my refrigerator, cabinets, or pantry. I move them around weekly. It is fun to write different affirmations on my dry erase board and chalk board as well. It not only brings me joy, but everyone that steps into my home as well. I know we brighten the day for anyone that comes into our home.
