Ketel One Botanicals was released in May 2018, and let me tell you … The hype is REAL! I’ve already loved the whole Ketel One brand but they really leveled it up with this one. Ketel One Botanicals has released three all new flavors, and I absolutely love all of them. Actually, there is no GMO, no sugar, no carbs, and less calories than a glass of white wine. Everyone seems obsessed with wondering exactly how many calories in vodka vs. other alcohol. The new Ketel One Botanicals ring in at about 73 calories per shot, which is 25% less than regular Ketel One vodka. This all vodka is the lowest calorie alcohol on the market, and it is really shaking up the drinking game.
Yes, you read that correctly. You can drink more vodka and have less calories than your favorite smashed grapes. WIN! The new botanical vodka is made with 100% non-GMO grain unlike most vodkas. It is then distilled in small batches in copper pot stills with the secret family botanical recipe. Through this process, they create the best no carb alcohol I have ever had. Who even knew drinking could be so healthy?
At two and a half months old, I am finding a hard time getting my hands on the new Ketel One Botanicals. As soon as I find it at my local liquor store, I am snatching up all three flavors. This unfortunately has not happened yet. Luckily for me, I live close to Innisbrook Golf Resort and Spa who carried all three Ketel One Botanical flavors immediately. None of my other favorite local bars have it yet.
Even more than just having all three flavors of the new vodka, Michelle (the lead bartender at Packard’s Steak House) and I even came up with our favorite cocktail recipes using all three flavors. Have you ever loved a liquor but have no idea what to mix with it? This is a problem that most people have with new drinks. Surprisingly, people don’t even know what vodka cocktails to order even if vodka s their favorite drink. Well, just let the mixologists take care of that for you. Just choose one of these Ketel One Botanicals vodka mixed drinks!
Be sure to ask for one of these Ketel One cocktails when you wander into one of the restaurants at Innisbrook Golf Resort and Spa. Ketel One Botanicals will permanently be on property, so there they will always provide the lowest calorie alcohol option for everyone to enjoy! Some of these recipes are even simple enough to be made at home!
