I’ve been to England three times in the last few years and even now, I still feel like I haven’t seen it all. There are so many beautiful places to savor in England that it can be overwhelming to try and fit everything into your to-do list without feeling rushed. London is a beautiful city with many winding streets to explore, boutiques to visit, and gorgeous landscapes and parks you wouldn’t want to miss.
Of course, I’d recommend you visit the most well-known tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, the London Eye, and the Tower of London. The city of London can be chaotic and overwhelmingly busy, but the surrounding buildings and architecture are so beautiful that the constantly on-the-go atmosphere adds to the city’s charm. James Park was one of my favorite places to get away from the city to relax and take in my surroundings, so if you’re looking for a break from the chaos of the city, James Park is the perfect place to go while on your way to Buckingham Palace.
The Camden Lock Market is a lovely place I’d recommend for those who want to see a different side to London. They say Camden Lock Market is London’s creative and cultural heart, and I couldn’t agree more! The market is one of London’s hidden gems- made up of unique shops and stands that sell things you won’t find anywhere else, delicious food of every ethnicity imaginable, and an artistic and culturally diverse vibe that’s hard not to fall in love with.
This is just a quick and simple little run down of the places I’d recommend you check out while staying in London as they were a few of the most memorable parts of my trips. If you’re interested in seeing the rustic side of England that tends to be underrated, stay tuned for my upcoming post where I’ll talk about the stunning countryside England has to offer.
